Custom Lighting Consultation
A custom lighting consultation includes an initial phone call to determine if Distressed Design would be a good candidate for your project. If all parties agree to move forward we will begin the consultation process. At this time, we would submit a consultation deposit request (usually $150). This deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied as a credit to the total should you decide to move forward with the purchase.
The consultation process begins with us taking the information gathered during the initial conversation(s) and submitting several sketches/designs along with visual references to past work or parts. If powder coating (painting) is a component of the project, we will order samples be sent to you for the color(s) requested.
Once a design is finalized and you would like to move forward with the fabrication we will setup a timeline, price, and payment schedule for the project. The deposit made at the time of consultation will be applied as a credit to the final price of the project.
To request an initial phone call consultation, please add “Initial Consultation” to your cart and check out. You will not be charged and no payment information will be requested. This will just setup a ticket on our end with your contact information. You’re also welcome to contact us via our contact page if you prefer.
